Priscelia and Yvonne in pursuit of dreams
Priscelia and Yvonne have great dreams and
great goals for their careers. Touched by MediaCorp's sincerity
and also the warm support and friendship offered by their fellow
colleagues, the 2 sign on with MediaCorp in pursuit of their dreams.

"When you hit your
mid twenties, you sometimes feel as if it is a turning point of
your life and you ask yourself it is time to make some changes,"
says Yvonne and that was why she was contemplating giving it all
up and going on to pursue a degree in Management.
  "But
Mediacorp was very sincere and they have made various plans for
me which follow the same line of thought that I have. That is why
I have decided to sign on a long term contract," says the sweet
looking actress who reveals that MediaCorp has been patiently discussing
the contract with her since the Star Awards last year.
Agreeing with Yvonne, Priscelia also tells us
that the decision to sign a 3-year-contract with MediaCorp came
after much contemplation.
Touched my MediaCorp's sincerity
"I thought about it for a long time. I think sincerity plays a very
important part in my decision," says Priscelia.
"Yes, having been with MediaCorp since TCS times,
I could really
see that the management has changed and that they are sincere in
doing the best for all MediaCorp employees," adds Yvonne.
 "Take
for example, in the past, we used to have to take care of our own
clothes. Now, there is a wardrobe mistress to take care of everything
for us. They even provide mineral water for us when you do outdoor
shoots," she smiles.
And the most important thing is that the management
actually caters to the needs of each and every artiste. "They sit
down and really talk to you to find out what you are capable of
and what you want and try to develop you so that each and every
artiste can shine in their own unique way," says Priscelia.
Image overhaul
"In fact, in signing the contract, it is as if we have this image
overhaul," smiles Priscelia who had an enjoyable time charting her
future development and growth with the company as she gets to give
suggestions about what she wants and what she likes and even what
kind of image she wants.
For Yvonne, her very first role after the renewal
of the contract in an upcoming serial, Chong Ji, is already
a deviant from the usual sweet little girls she plays. "I play this
very nice girl who ends up tormented and deranged. It is a very
challenging role."
Priscelia has also made a step in doing something
different. "I am currently filming Fa Cai Ba Bai Wan. I play
a scriptwriter and finally, I don't just secretly like someone and
suffer a lot for his sake. Someone is secretly in me too!" she giggles.
Happy family
The feeling of working together for a common goal in this happy
family is also reason why they have decided to stay.
"I have been here for a few years and have
made a lot of friends. I have become good friends with my colleagues
in artiste management and Marcom. I really cannot bear to leave
this environment," says Yvonne
"And especially when you go overseas to film
with the crew, you really feel this sense of camaraderie," adds
Priscelia.
