Lingling
wants to steal limelight from bride Zoe

Right after Zoe announces the good news
of her wedding, Lingling drops another "bomb". "Yes, I am pregnant
again," she says and she has jokingly threatened to steal the limelight
from Zoe the bride.

  "Zoe
actually did not want me and Biren to walk
down the aisle with her because we are
married. But I told her that even if she did not allow us to, I
would still go ahead. Now that I am pregnant, I can even snatch
the limelight away from her," jokes the chatty and radiant mother-to-be.
But since Zoe's wedding is on September 22,
we asked this beautiful mother-to-be who dislikes wearing maternity
dresses if she is happy that she can be dressed up to the nines
for the wedding.
"Oh, she's getting married on September 22?
I didn't know that. Okay, then I would purposely turn up at the
wedding in a maternity dress just so that I can steal the limelight
away from her! Hahahaha…"
Sharing the joy
When asked about how she feels, Lingling says that she was actually
happy and yet lost.
"I was not prepared for it. The baby wasn't planned. I had wanted
to wait until Beckham was about 4 years old because I felt that
he would then be able to take care of his younger sibling."
"When he is too young, he may be jealous and
hit his younger sibling instead. I have seen that happen before,"
said the actress who had initially wanted only one kid but only
decided to have another because hubby Shinan loved children.
"Besides, I had wanted to work first," she said
before going to tell us that she is really touched that the company
has actually been rather understanding towards her situation. "I
will be working all the way till when I deliver!" she beams.
 Currently
hosting an infotainment show with Billy Wang, she reveals that the
producers have added a segment about pregnancy and mothers and the
crew will follow her through her pregnancy as she chats up celebrity
mothers and speaks to experts about childcare.
Cast and crew of Fa Cai Ba Bai Wan have
also been instructed to be very gentle
with this mother-to-be.
So what was Shinan's reaction to the good news?
"When I went up to him to tell him that I might
be pregnant, he was actually sleeping. Unlike the first time where
he kept shouting, 'yeah yeah yeah… I am going to be a father!' He
just patted me and said, 'okay, very good, very good,' before drifting
to sleep again."
Retorts Shinan jokingly, "Hey! I am a very heavy
sleeper and it is difficult to wake me up so this is already considered
a big reaction."
What about little Beckham?
"He is too young to understand what is happening.
But I think he is jealous. When I told him that I have a baby in
the tummy, he keeps saying, 'No, no...'
And he refuses to sayang my tummy… I
had to use lollipops and treats to Mac Donalds to get him to touch
my tummy. I understand that it can be quite unfair to him. I will
try to give him more love."
