What does Chew Chor Meng do after dark?
We discover that despite his nightly adventures on TV, he really
prefers the bright light of day.

 You've
seen the man plying the back alleys in
the wee hours of the morning. He checks out mysterious and remote
cemeteries and mortuaries that you'd otherwise never heard.
And you've followed him ardently on his exciting
night-outs with other artistes as he takes on the graveyard shift
to nose around interesting nightspots for his show, Tonight
With Chor Meng.
We track the MediaCorp star to find out what
he's really like after night falls.
Question: Describe your nightlife. Are you
a night or morning person?
 I
have absolutely no nightlife, none at all. I don't go to
nightspots and I only watch movies or hang out with my friends at
cafes (in Serangoon Gardens). In fact, I normally only catch the
9pm shows, no mid-night ones for me.
Actually, I really have no time for an active
nightlife. I'm usually too tired and if I have the time, I'd rather
catch up on my sleep. I'm definitely more of a morning person.
Question: What's the last show you caught?
 It
has been a long time since I watched a movie, I think it was Billy
Elliot . It was a 5 pm premiere that I caught with my wife.
Question: Which is the most memorable location
you've visited or scouted during your program so far?
It has got to be the graveyards, cemeteries,
mortuaries and coffin parlours! It's all very eerie and spooky at
night, especially when you see stuff like paper dolls and coffins.
I wasn't alone (there was a 7-man crew) but
it makes you feel really morbid and gloomy after a while.
