"Must win. Everything also must be Number
1." - These are just some of the typical trademarks of a Kiasu
being. And if you find yourself displaying symptoms like such, welcome
to the Kiasu club.
Being
Singapore's one and only Mr Kiasu, MediaCorp artiste Chew Chor Meng
is no exception to the 'scared to loose' phenomenal.
Leading
the cast of Channel 5's latest sitcom, Mr Kiasu and staff of supporting
organisations, Chor Meng and the rest of the Kiasu gang (including
Daniel Ong, Jaslyn Theen, Catherine Sng and Suhaila Salam) broke
the Guinness World Record by creating the World's Biggest Kiasu
Face with 65,000 KFC-Pepsi paper cups at Marina Square last Saturday.
Participants
started putting the cups together from as early as 2 pm. The task
was completed when the stars arrived at 5 pm to place the final
cups to complete the World's Largest Mr Kiasu motif.
The Mr Kiasu Face occupies a whooping 76 by
64 ft (22.8 by 19.2 m) and the montage was held together with 4320
m (4.32 km) of Scotch heavy duty mounting tape.
Meanwhile,
check out the pictures of the record-breaking Mr Kiasu Face and
don't forget to catch Mr Kiasu, every Tuesday, 8:00 pm on Channel
5.
