Singaporean period drama production has never looked so good! I simple couldn't get enough of Lu Xiaofeng last Friday.

Despite all that fantastic cinematography, the eye-catching Sino-Japan inspired outfits and the fascinating martial arts choreography, executive producer Jiang Long is determined to make part 2 even better.

"I have decided to make Part 2 into three short stories and I have decided to inject a little science fiction into this fantastic Gu Long story!" exclaimed Jiang who also hired a famous Hong Kong scriptwriter to flesh out the stories.

New Storyline
"I want Part two to be investigative stories. So they should be short and paced fast to grab the audience's attention," says Jiang as he went on to tell us a little more about his new stories.

Story 1: Shui Jia Tian Xia (Who Reigns?) Ye Xue (Yvonne Lim) becomes invincible (with the help of supernatural powers) as a result of having sighted aliens. "Everyone wants to be number one in the pugilistic world," explains Jiang. "But do humans really reign or are there other unknown powers on a higher level in the universe ruling this place we call Earth?" .

Story 2: Mo Gui Jian Ke (Demonic Swordsman)
The retired Ximen Cuixue (Christopher Lee) forms an unlikely friendship with a deranged swordsman (Jerry Chang). Against the wishes of his loving wife, he starts training at the expense of going 'zou huo ru mo' (insane). Will he go berserk? "Well, you have to watch the series to find out," says Jiang.

Story 3: Feng Wu Jiu Tian (Phoenix Dancing In Nine Skies)
Lu Xiaofeng and his gang of righteous friends tries to destroy a group of Japanese invaders who have managed to master some supreme skill that allows them to recover from any wound in a very short span of time. "It would be a lot of fun to find out how Lu Xiaofeng and gang manage fight these virtually invincible enemies," says Jiang with a smile.

New Cast While Christopher Lee and Fang Jiwei will reprise their roles in Part 1, lots of additions have been made to the cast list.

A number of popular foreign celebrities like Zheng Haonan, Gigi Lai, Yu Rongguang and Lin Meizhen (from Malaysia) will add glitter to the star-studded list and being a firm believer of giving new talents "good training ground and a good chance to build their confidence and polish their acting skills", Mr Jiang will also cast quite a number of "newcomers' in the serial.
