Melody's debut to the small screen was in the highly popular sitcom Happy Belly. In it, she played Benedict Goh's younger angst ridden sister. So impressed with her performance, TCS offered her roles in the next sitcom, The Donny Lee Show. There she had audience cracking up at her hilarious gimmicks with fellow co-stars like Hossan Leong.

But it was her debut films that really launched her into the entertainment industry. Teenage Textbook saw her playing the nerdy student going through the trials tribulations of life as a teenager. She then went on to nab the coveted role in Hong Kong movie Street Angels. The film about girl gangs in Hong Kong was a box office hit, propelling her further up the ranks as an actress.

Cool and confident, this girl is also a fantastic host for corporate functions and dinners. Melody Chen is definitely a face to look out for.
